Delete Snippets in 1.4 (94)
Hi,
When will delete be fixed, I have a few snippets I would like to delete. ;)
1.4 is great things are going in the right direction; fantastic to see it under active development.

Hi Michael,
Delete should be working ok if you use the delete toolbar button. There have been some reports of the context menu not working properly so I would avoid that for now.

No the button does not work for me either, the menu (edit>delete) is greyed out always actually and the contact menu does not work when delete is selected.
I can delete to remove snippets from groups/folders. But when I try to remove them from the top level library they just won't go for good. I delete > sometimes it seems to go > sometimes not - then on reboot it is always back (just can't do a final delete).
I am on 10.6.3 new Mac Book Pro months old, and on my Mac Pro same deal.
It is not a rush as they do go out of groups but to keep things clean need to see the bug fixed eventually. Hope you can find it.

Hmm, I'm not seeing the issue with not being able to delete at all, but I have just tried the restarting the app and have found they appear again. I'll look into that for 1.4.1. I'll also see if I can find out what might be causing the delete button not to be enabled. You do have the snippets selected in the snippet list when trying to delete?

Delete is a problem with or without Delete Snippet ToolBar.

Another problem is Syntax Highlighting, doesn't work well in Objective-c

Syntax highlighting is something we're looking into and hoping to have a major improvement ready for a future version.

Yep snippet is highlighted, what you are saying that is what happens I think you have recreated the bug...it started in the previous beta I believe to the release if that helps was fine before that for me.
The button does work but snippets come back on restart that is an accurate way to describe this.
When I click delete button when highlighting a group of snippets to delete only the first one vanishes and the others just stay. On restart the vanished one returns.

I encountered the same problem, after restart CCP 1.4 the deleted snippets will all come back.
