Hi Pilky,

There's kind of a gap in the market for creating (or at least drafting) ideas for Comic books or Comic strips. I was looking about for a tool to give me some kind of ability to create a "project" and then a bunch of pages that represent the "chapter" I'm working on. I've yet to find something on the App Store for the iPad. What I'd love is something that allows me to do the following:

1) Create a project
2) Create a page, choosing a template for the overall page panel layout (the boxes you draw in to)
3) Click on to panel - opens a full screen editor - you draw (like you currently can) in to that
4) Ability to add layers
5) Ability to add bubbles and sound effects and such

This would then allow an full page overview and the ability to create the art for each panel. You can kind of already do a lot of this with multiple products, but there's nothing that allows you to do "all" of this in one app. Take a look at MangaStudio for inspiration :-)

Pipe dream? Maybe, but I think you could do it.

    Hi,

It sounds like a great idea for an app, but I don't think I'd be able to create such an app, at least not for several years, simply due to being stretched thing between my current apps.

    Thanks

    Martin

Shame! I do understand though. I was thinking about looking in to is myself... except my dev account expires in a couple of weeks. I might look at Mac first, then iPad.
