Accessibility Manual
Welcome to the Minim Accessibility Guide. This guide is designed to give you an overview of features in Minim aimed at making using it easier and more enjoyable for those using accessibility tools such as VoiceOver.
We made a pledge to make all our applications fully accessible and Minim fulfils the criteria we set out to define our Application as fully accessible:
- The user interface available to VoiceOver users is as user friendly as the visual UI
- All UI elements have been given accessibility descriptions
- All controls provide full keyboard access
- There is a clear and logical order to navigating UI fields with the keyboard
- Every part of the application is reachable without the mouse
If you find any problems with accessibility then please let us know by emailing us at accessibility@mcubedsw.com

Table navigation
Minim features some extra short cuts to allow users to interact with table content. Minim allows you to shift rows, collect rows and make a sticky selection (keep a row selected as you move to another row). Below is a description of how to perform them and a list of which tables within Minim support which commands
Shift rows This will move all selected rows up or down one row. If the end of a table is reached, all rows will be collected up. For example, if rows 2 and 4 are selected and shifted up they would then become rows 1 and 3. If they are shifted up again they would become rows 1 and 2.
To shift rows hold option-shift and press up or down.
Collect rows This will collect all the selected rows below the first selected row or above the bottom selected row. For example, if rows 2, 4 and 6 are collected at the top they become rows 2, 3 and 4. If they are collected at the bottom they become rows 4,5 and 6.
To collect rows hold control-shift and press up or down.
Sticky rows This makes it easier to create discontinuous selections. To make the row you are currently on sticky hold option-shift and press space. You can then use the up and down arrows to move around the table without losing your selection. You can do this for as many rows as you want. In order to make a sticky row non-sticky simply press option-shift and space on it again.
Tables in Minim There are several tables in Minim which support some, all or none of these features. To save you from having to find this out the hard way they are listed below:

Songs/Podcast List - Supports sticky rows
Ideas List View - Supports none
Collaborators List - Supports none
Files List - Supports none
Albums/Shows List - Supports sticky rows, shift rows and collect

Extra features
We are dedicated to providing accessibility support for all forms of disability. In its recording view Minim has an audio level indicator which shows important information using colour. In order to allow important information to be seen by colourblind users, clicking on this indicator will change it into greyscale mode.
