Creating/Deleting a Podcast
To create a podcast, click the New Podcast toolbar button or choose New Podcast from the File menu. This will create a new podcast and open the details view so you can edit it. If you want to delete a podcast, select it in the podcast list and click the Delete Podcast toolbar button or choose Delete Selected from the Library menu. This will pop up a sheet asking whether you want to delete just the podcast from Minim's database or also move all files associated with that podcast to the trash.
Editing a podcast
To edit a podcast, double click it in the podcast list. This will bring up the details panel. From here you can edit information about the podcast, the sections, any collaborators and manage files. Use the tabs across the top to change between the various sections. To switch between podcasts while in the details view use the arrows in the top left. To exit the details view use the button in the top right.
The info section allows you to edit various pieces of metadata about the podcast, including the title, the date recorded and the show notes. Another piece of information you can change is the master audio file. This field will list all audio files associated with the podcast. Choosing one of these will allow it to be used for playback.
Sections
Minim allows you to plan your podcast in advanced. Each section has a title and a body. The UI displays a list of the section titles and selecting one of these will let you view and edit the body. To add or remove sections use the + and - buttons above the section titles list. Sections can also be re-arranged by dragging them to a new row.
Creating/Deleting a Show
Shows provide a means of collecting various podcasts together. To create a show press the + button in the bottom left of the window and choose New Show or choose New Show from the Collections menu. To then delete a show, select the show and press the Delete Collection button
Adding and managing episodes
To add an episode to a show drag it from the podcast list to the show. Alternatively you can copy and paste podcasts into an show. Once you have your show episodes you can set the release date by double clicking on the date cell.
Podcast artwork
To add podcast artwork, drag an image to the computer screen. Alternatively choose Import Artwork from the Collections menu.
